Château d'Azy was built in 1847 at the request of Count Denis Benoist d'Azy. Renaissance in style, it was designed by the architect Angevin Delarue. Completely atypical in the region, this castle does not respond to architectural traditions, Delarue has made it unique in Nièvre by giving it a romantic and lyrical dimension.
